We’re in the process on automating our analytics workflow, starting with data collection. We have a lot of Everviz charts and maps, and manually updating the visualizations takes a lot of time. Charts offer the option to update the underlying data using the “Live data” function, basically replacing the manual data with the new, online data.
Unfortunately, no such option exists for maps - meaning that we will need to create every map from scratch with the exact same dataset and -structure, only this time fetched from a .csv published to the web. The underlying data structure (simple table with headers and a label column) is exactly the same as the ones we would otherwise upload “manually”, and I can’t see why this should be any different.
I therefore suggest/ask that you develop the option to update Everviz maps with live data - just as is possible for charts.
