Maps — Label {point.label} doesn't follow data sorting in the show table option

Hi,

We are creating a choropleth map of Canada which has 2 points for each jurisdiction. Point 1 is a percentage which is the {point.value}. Point 2 is an extra piece of info we want displayed in the Tooltip as well as in the table below {point.label}.

The issue is, that when the value is sorted from highest to lowest, the 2nd point {point.label} doesn’t sort with it.

This is what the data looks like when I upload/paste.

This is what the data table looks like when I “show table” or “download xls” from the Options menu.

You can see how everything is sorted from lowest to highest, but the {point.label} didn’t sort with it.

  1. Is it possible to just have the table underneath appear how I have it in my original data upload with no sorting? (I asked this in July, but didn’t get a response) Can you sort the "view table" in a map by the geojson order?
  2. Is there a code to turn this off?
  3. We have a high profile project being released at the beginning of April and we were relying on being able to use the built in table as the accessible version.

Thanks,
Kerry

Hi kerry,

I have created an issue in everviz for this. We will get back to you as soon as we have something.

Hi Faria,

Thanks for looking into this. Just wondering if you have an update. Should I be looking into finding an alternative solution for the table?

Thanks,
Kerry

Hi Kerry,

Our Dev team is actively working on this, but it is a bit challenging. However, the process is underway, and we should be able to provide you with a proper update by the end of this week.

Thanks for your patience.
